Isolation is a property, not a promise.
Each guarantee below holds from the first day of an engagement. They fall out of how a Matter Model is built, and stand before anyone is asked to trust them.

The firm sets what the Matter Model may do.
Access is role-defined. The firm decides who can read the matter, who can add to the record, and how far the Matter Model’s own authority extends.
The Matter Model never widens its own remit. Where an action sits beyond its authority, it stops and asks the firm.

The record stays only as long as it should.
Retention is controlled, not open-ended. The firm sets how long the matter and its working state are kept, and the environment holds to it.
When a matter closes or a retention window ends, the environment and what it held come down with it. Nothing quietly persists beyond the terms of the engagement.
Controlled retention is a setting the firm owns, not a default we impose.
Deletion reaches what was learned from a source.
A source is rarely inert. The Matter Model reconstructs chronology from it, weighs propositions against it, and learns inferences because of it.
Remove a source, and its derived matter knowledge is removed with it.

Every instruction, answer, and change is on the record.
Every entry carries a timestamp and an actor. Instructions, Firm responses, proposed updates, examinations, and promotion decisions are all preserved, so the firm can read how the matter reached its current state.

Nothing here is a one-way door.
The matter moves forward in versions. Each is attributed and reversible, so a promotion that later proves wrong can be rolled back to a known prior state.

New evidence, a corrected inference, a promoted improvement. Each carries a version, an actor, and a reason.

The matter does not leak into an outside system.
A Matter Model learns from the matter it works. That learning stays inside the matter environment and is never fed back to train a general model beyond it.
No client record trains an outside system.
A human answer is authority, not automatic truth.
The firm supplies what the record cannot: intent, strategy, acceptable risk, and authorization. That authority is decisive for what the Matter Model may do, without standing in for the evidence itself.

- Authority sets what may happen, not what is true.
- The examination still decides whether a change holds.
Conflicts are checked before an environment opens.
Every request for a benchmark engagement is reviewed for conflicts and suitability before any environment is created. Isolation is the default state, and access is granted against a defined matter, not across a firm.
Because matters do not share memory, the containment that protects one client protects the next.
We will not publish a policy we have not built.
A formal incident response commitment belongs here, with defined notification and containment steps. We are still building that discipline to the standard a dispute deserves.
